Not a lot of work or products needed to get this done. A bag of pretzel robs; two or more types of chocolates and sprinkles. I decided to put together a “see you in September” treat for the group. We are finishing up a season of studying and this is what I am offering as a thank you for a wonderful time of living, loving and getting to know this book and these people.

I used two chocolates (white and semi dark), but I managed to get to obtain three configurations. First the white chocolate was melted and the rods were dipped into the chocolate and the sprinkles were positioned on before the chocolate harden. The same process was done with the semi dark. The next step was to mix the white and semi dark to form a swirl combo (do not over mix) and once again the sprinkles were placed on the rods before the chocolate mix harden. To assure a nice firm coating I placed the rods into the fridge until I was ready to take them to the celebration. This is such an easy treat and you can decorate according to the occasion or the season. My scheme was developed because it is summer. Think of the possibilities and fun you can create.

Another note: you can use gluten free pretzel robs for this and there is no change in the taste of the end product, but dark chocolate will add a richer flavor.
